The highly rated Milne Library provides an expansive print collection and extensive electronic resources, including a new Technology center. Oneonta offers computer labs in all academic and residential buildings, campus wide wireless networking, and the most bandwidth to the Internet of any SUNY college.

Located in the historic Susquehanna Valley of central New York, Oneonta is convenient to all of New York State. Nearby Cooperstown is home to the National Baseball Hall of Fame. With a population of around 14,000 the city of Oneonta maintains a small-town feel but offers opportunities for entertainment, the arts, athletics, and shopping.
