Founded in 1961, Florida Air Academy is Florida’s premier private college-preparatory boarding and day school for young men and women, grades 7-12. Fully accredited, the Academy provides numerous opportunities for students to excel in academics and athletics, while still enjoying a wide variety of social activities.

Campus life at Florida Air Academy includes a student body comprised of approximately 260 students from 25 states and 20 foreign countries. Although most of our students are from Florida, our cultural diversity allows all students to experience and appreciate the customs, languages, beliefs, and values of other members of the international community. Florida Air Academy is proud to be a member of, and accredited by, both the Florida Council of Independent Schools (FCIS), and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).

  The Fine Arts Department at Florida Air Academy is designed to spark the imagination, promote skill development, and unlock the creative and inventive potential of each and every student. By providing an extensive variety of hands-on learning opportunities through art studio practices and quality art instruction, our students are encouraged, inspired, and motivated to take risks and engage in the creative process.Graphic Arts like Graphic Design & Web Design
• Graphic Design
  Students are introduced to the fundamentals of graphic design and the appropriate software for creating artistic works of art. Students complete a variety of projects in both print and web mediums. Upon completion of the course, students will compile a portfolio of creative work.
• Web Design
  Students plan, develop, and publish well-designed web sites that combine effective navigation with appropriate use of graphics, animation, interactivity, text, color, and sound. Students become proficient in writing, testing, and debugging specific HTML code and demonstrate understanding of techniques used to maintain a web site, addressing the issues of storage, uploading, downloading, and file management
