Health Administration/Management ask our senior counselors. Health Administration/management is a role within the healthcare industry such as hospitals, clinics and public health systems. Fresh graduates could also select a role in the Business office within hospitals/healthcare sectors taking responsibilities in admission and registration of patients, billing of patients discharged, preparing claims for insurance, third-party payer relations and overlooking staff within the business office. Choosing to study health management means you are open to select a flexible career within pharmaceutical companies, health insurance companies, long-term care facilities, including management consulting, banks and other financial institutions and in professional societies.

Entry requirements for UG study may vary depending on the University

British Curriculum: AAB – BBB (with subjects that relate directly to the major selected)
IB: 30-36points
Indian Curriculum: 85 % overall
French Baccalaureate: 16 overall

IELTS – Overall 6.5-7.0 at UG level, with no band less than 6.5

In the UK, a bachelor’s program is up to 3yrs in duration and could go up to 4 years with an industry placement, whilst in the US all courses are 4 yrs. The Health Administration/Management programs are usually offered at a PG level. Whilst for UG level you will require pursuing a degree in Business administration/finance or a relevant Health science programs. Glyndwr University offers a course related to health management. Whilst you may choose a Health Science program at the University of Liverpool, University of Portsmouth, & Glasgow Caledonian University. Annual course fee ranges from £7500-£13000 based on the university.

If you wish to study in the US a SAT score of 1800 to 2000 in Chemistry, Biology & Physics would be required depending on the university chosen. You may consider Ferris State University that offers a Health Care Administration Degree.
