SPOKANE FALLS COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Spokane is a GREAT place to live and study. Clean. Green, Friendly. And Spokane Falls Community College (SFCC) is a great place to continue your education.

SFCC is a fully-accredited, two-year public institution in the State of Washington. SFCC is part of a “District” that includes a second community college, Spokane Community College (SCC). In addition, the District offers many programs for adult and continuing education.

Most students at SFCC earn their Associate of Arts degree (2 years), and then transfer to a 4 year university to complete their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degrees in just two more years.

SFCC has guaranteed-admission agreements with 5 regional universities. Students are guaranteed transfer to a good university when they complete our Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree.

And SFCC has an excellent Intensive English Language Program (IELP) that includes four levels of study. The IELP offers small class sizes, and very personalized instruction. The course is 20 hours per week, and is truly intensive. Students in the IELP will increase their English proficiency quickly, and will be well prepared for attending academic classes at SFCC.

One of the best features about SFCC + SCC is our world-class Home Stay Programs. Home Stay parents always meet students at the airport upon arrival, and provide good support for students as they adjust to a new culture. Our Home Stay program very carefully screens host families to make sure that only the best homes are approved for our students. And the students are asked what their preferences are, so that the best home stay placement can be made. Most new international students choose to live with an American family for their first term, and can remain in Home stay as long as they choose.

In addition to the two-year Associate of Arts programs, students can also select from several excellent technical/professional programs that lead to the Associate of Applied Sciences degree. These AAS programs include Graphic Design, Interior Design, IT, Early Childhood Education, and many more.
