College at Brockport–SUNY is a public institution that was founded in 1835. It has a total undergraduate enrollment of 7,119, its setting is suburban, and the campus size is 435 acres. The College offers 49 undergraduate majors, 41 graduate degree programs and teacher certification, combined bachelor’s/master’s programs, and has program accreditation in 12 areas. Students have access to one of the largest study abroad programs in the nation, a variety of internships with major corporations, 23 NCAA intercollegiate athletic teams, arts and cultural events, and more than 70 clubs and organizations.

Ninety percent of freshmen live in residence halls. Nearly 30 percent of the College’s undergraduates advance to graduate school, and 91 percent find jobs in their field or are in graduate school within six months of graduation.

The 464-acre campus includes recent multi-million dollar renovations to Smith-Lennon Science Center, Hartwell Hall, Seymour College Union and Harrison Dining Hall; a newly opened 208-bed townhome facility; and plans for a $44-million Special Events Recreation Center.

Brockport has a small but strong Greek life with a good group of fraternities and sororities. Each organization does many events each semester and raises money for many different causes.

Funded by BSG, BTV has two hit programs, Brockport Weekly and ATV (Almost Television, comedy). Brockport Weekly covers news throughout the campus and the community, and includes the Eagle’s Nest show dedicated to Brockport sports. Every week ATV shows a comedy show with skits from several of the campus’ comedians. Brockport Weekly airs on the hour every hour on the campus television channel 12 and ATV every weekday at 7pm.
