Fanshawe College is one of the largest colleges in located in Ontario, Canada. Their main campus is in London, with additional campuses in Simcoe, St. Thomas, Woodstock, and Tillsonburg. They have almost 15,000 full-time students and 40,000 part-time students, and over 100,000 alumni. They are also very prominent in the field of Journalism and Media, with their student newspaper, The Interrobang, as a member of Canadian University Press (CUP). Fanshawe also offers a variety of programs both at the undergraduate and graduate level. These courses range from Business and Engineering, to Management, Contemporary Media, and Tourism. Fanshawe College offers International students English Language Programs (ESL) that provide them with the necessary foundation and language skills to continue with their degree.
In terms of sports, Fanshawe was the only CCAA College to have two podium finishes at the National Championships. In 2009-2010, Fanshawe’s cross country running teams also declared themselves National Champions, taking the top spot on the podiums for both men’s and women’s teams. This makes it the 3rd consecutive year the ladies have captured the National Title. Hence, not only do they offer a wide range of academics, but also have strong sports teams for students to join.
